Loosen the rotation lock knob to rotate the camera around the lens axis, allowing smooth switching between portrait and landscape orientations without adjusting the pan/tilt head. To open the ring, turn the locking knob counterclockwise to align the mark with the dot, then pull the knob outward to release the loop.
