Preferred scan tool relearn enabling method: 1. Press the parking brake (manual transmission only). 2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and use the scan tool to start the Tire Pressure Sensors Learn"mode. If you hear the horn chirping twice, it means that the relearn mode has been enabled. The left front turn signal will also illuminate. 3. Starting from the left front tire, make the antenna of the tire pressure monitoring tool face up and counter the tire sidewall near the rim of the valve core. Press and release the start button and wait for the horn to chirp. Once the horn chirps, the sensor information will be read, and the turn signal lamp at the next position to be read will light up. 4. After the horn sounds and the right front turn signal lamp is on, repeat step 3 for the remaining three sensors in the following order: 4.1 Right Front 4.2 Right rear 4.3 Left rear 5. When the left rear sensor has been learned and the horn also emits two chirps, the learning process is completed and the body control module also exits the relearning mode. 6. Turn the ignition switch to OFF, and adjust all tire pressures to the recommended values. Refer to Vehicle Certificate, Tire Label, Anti theft and Service Parts Identification Number Label. Alternative Driver Information Center relearn activation method: 1. Press the parking brake (manual transmission only). 2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, and start the relearn mode with the driver information center (DIC) display control. Two chirps from the horn indicate that relearn mode is active and will illuminate the LF turn signal. 3. Starting from the left front wheel, start the tire pressure sensor with one of the following methods: Make the antenna of the tire pressure monitoring tool face up and push against the tire sidewall of the rim near the valve core. Press and release the start button and wait for the horn to chirp. Once the horn chirps, the sensor information will be read, and the turn signal lamp at the next position to be read will light up. Warning: 1. Inflating the tire too much may cause personal injury or damage to the tire and wheel. When increasing the tire pressure, do not exceed the maximum inflation pressure marked on the tire sidewall. 2. Increase/decrease the tire pressure by 8 10 ? Seconds, and then wait for the horn to chirp. After 8 10 seconds, when the tire pressure increases/decreases, the horn may chirp for less than 30 seconds. Once the horn chirps, the sensor information will be read, and the turn signal lamp at the next position to be read will light up. 4. After the horn sounds and the right front turn signal lamp is on, repeat step 3 for the remaining three sensors in the following order: 4.1 Right Front 4.2 Right rear 4.3 Left rear 5. When the left rear sensor has been learned and the horn also emits two chirps, the learning process is completed and the body control module also exits the relearning mode. 6.
