Introduction: CAN-BUS is a widely used industrial bus protocol known for its long transmission distance, medium communication speed, and high reliability. It is commonly used in modern machine tools and as an automotive diagnostic bus. This CAN-BUS Shield features the MCP2515 CAN Bus controller with SPI interface and the MCP2551 CAN transceiver, enabling CAN-BUS functionality for Arduino and Seeeduino platforms. When paired with an OBD-II converter cable and the OBD-II library, it supports development of onboard diagnostic devices or data loggers.
